Push and pull

Pushing your swells.
Rolling in, waves crash on my shore.
Distructive to my fragile foundation.
Getting your waters deep under my skin but I welcome you.
Moving and shifting sands is what you do.
Washing debris onto my once perfect seascape at least in my eyes.
Tide is high so i drown for a second till your waters receede.
Taking back all that was once there.
Restoring my sands till smooth again.
Pulling the mess you just made back into you waters.
I am whole again.
